We want to tell you all the details.

What to expect at Spearfish Connection Church

  • We have a small parking lot next to our building for visitors, families, elderly or handicapped. You can also park anywhere on the street, whether it is 7th, Hudson, or Grant street. Be sure to be careful crossing the street!

  • We don't want appearances or expectations to get in the way of celebrating the giver of life, Jesus. Our services are upbeat, informal and most dress casual. Expect to be welcomed, grab a bulletin and feel free to grab coffee, water or a breakfast item from the back. Sit wherever is comfortable for you and know there are restrooms in the foyer anytime you need them.

  • Our services are on average 60 minutes. You'll see things like singing, prayer, reading scripture and announcements mixed in. Then a pastor will preach a relevant message from the bible. Occasionally, we will celebrate water baptisms and communion. To get a better idea, view a recent live service HERE.

  • We offer a place for children from birth to 5th grade at our 9:45am service! We split kids from 0-2 years into Nursery, from 3-4yrs for pre-K and from K to 5th grade into Kids Connection.

All children's classrooms are downstairs. When you walk into the front door, the stairs are right to your left. Ask a greeter if you are unsure. Expect to be greeted by our Family Pastor, Cory Smith, or one of our children's volunteers. For safety, you must check your children in downstairs at the check-in station.

There is also a cry room for nursing or young mothers located downstairs. The room has a live TV feed, comfortable chairs and a few toys. Ask a children's volunteer downstairs to find that room.
