New to Connection Church?
We want to tell you all the details.
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church can make you feel nervous. We are not a perfect church, but we want you to feel welcome when you visit.
We now gather Sunday mornings at 10AM
If you are still unable to gather with us, watch our Sunday service on Youtube.
Come visit us at 720 N 12th Street, right off I-90 at Exit 12. You'll see two entrances with double doors; the one on the left under the awning is for Connection Kids and the one on the right is the Celebration Center where we do our worship services.
What to expect at Spearfish Connection Church
We have a plenty of parking around the building including handicapped-designated parking. If coming with children, be sure to enter under the awning; otherwise, use either entrance for our celebration center.
We offer a place for children from birth to 5th grade at our 10am service! We split kids from 0-2 years into Nursery, from 3-4yrs for pre-K and from K to 5th grade into Kids Connection.
The check-in area and kids rooms are all accessed through the double doors of the building with the awning. Look for a directional sign that says Connection Kids & Youth. At the check-in table, expect to be greeted by one of our children's check-in volunteers. For safety, you must check your children in at the check-in station.
We don't want appearances or expectations to get in the way of celebrating the giver of life, Jesus. Our services are upbeat, informal and most dress casual. Expect to be welcomed, grab a bulletin and feel free to grab coffee, water or a breakfast item from in the foyer. Sit wherever is comfortable for you and know there are *restrooms down the hall anytime you need them.
*We are working on adding handicapped accessible bathrooms near the sanctuary ASAP
Our services are on average 75 minutes. You'll be encouraged to worship things like singing, prayer, reading scripture and announcements mixed in. Then one of our pastors will preach a sermon from the bible. Occasionally, we will celebrate water baptisms and communion. To get a better idea, view a recent live service HERE.
